Michael Jackson may be gone, but he's certainly not forgotten. The King of Pop will be immortalized by Cirque du Soliel with Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour. The tour is scheduled to stop at Time Warner Cable Arena March 13 and 14, 2012.
Presale tickets are currently on sale at www.cirqueclub.com with tickets going on sale to the public Monday, September 12. The concert tour is written and directed by Emmy winner Jamie King, who makes his Cirque debut with "Immortal." King (pictured above with John Branca, co-executor of Jackson's estate) worked with Jackson as a tour dancer early in his career. He has served as Madonna's creative director for the past 12 years. He's also fashioned concert tours for Rihanna, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, and The Spice Girls' reunion. For details on the tour click here.
"The Immortal" will debut in Montreal in October before a December residency at Vegas' Mandalay Bay.
LiveNation announced Tuesday that Ray Davies will perform at The Fillmore November 2. Tickets for the Kinks' frontman's rare NC performance go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. www.livenation.com.
