Puppini Sisters cancel tour

The Puppini Sisters - the London vocal trio who has updated the jazzy harmonies of '30s and '40s girl groups like the Andrews Sisters for a modern audience - has cancelled its February U.S. tour due to travel issues. This includes its upcoming February 26 date at McGlohon Theatre. Refunds will be issued for all tickets. For more information contact the venue's box office at 704-372-1000 or log on to www.blumenthalarts.org. The sexy, campy trio issued an apology to fans, but said they look forward to seeing them on their next tour of the states.

  1. low ticket sales. not 'travel issues'. they could not 'travel' because they sold no tickets

  2. My wife and I bought two of them a couple of months back, and our "best available" seats were in the back of the autotorium. So I don't think low tix sales were it, at least in Charlotte.

Love these gals. We were really looking forward to this one. Bummer...
